Born and raised in Burnt Islands, a rural community on the southwest coast, Michael King has dedicated his career to public service and political leadership.

With over a decade of experience in politics and government, he has served in key roles, including Constituency Assistant, Executive Director of the Liberal Party, Special Advisor to the Premier, and Executive Assistant to Minister Andrew Parsons. Michael has always been deeply committed to his community, with a strong passion for volunteering and advocacy. 

Growing up in a small town, he understands firsthand the challenges facing rural communities and is determined to be a strong voice on their behalf. His extensive experience and dedication have equipped him with the skills and knowledge to effectively represent and lead the constituents of Burgeo – La Poile as their next Member of the House of Assembly.
