Philip Aguirre is the Executive Director of the Newton BIA and is the owner of the Old Surrey Restaurant. He has owned and operated the restaurant since 2007, and it has been an integral part of the Newton community for 48 years. Philip is a Certified Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria. Furthermore, he is the treasurer of Tourism Surrey (Discover Surrey), the Business Improvement Association of BC (BIABC). With his diverse background, he still believes that balance is the key to life and credits his dedication to the support of his family.
