Residents deserve leadership that listens, communicates clearly, and is accountable. That means better transparency, stronger communications, and engagement that works for everyone, including the younger residents like myself who will inherit the decisions we make today.

Housing & Homelessness

Comparer

Affordability

Comparer d
Responsible growth in the places already built for it, with infrastructure and transit keeping pace, so North Shore families can afford to stay.

Building Maintenance & Occupant Health

Comparer d
Ask for a funded, realistic plan to address our aging rec centres and community spaces.

Housing Accessibility

Comparer d
Back more townhouses and ground-oriented homes that fit our neighbourhoods and that people can start a family in, downsize into, or live in with mobility needs.
Move to speed up the shift to digital permits through the Building Permit Hub, advocate for per-approved standard suite and coach-home designs, and publish wait times online.

Property Taxes

Comparer d
Push for careful budgeting that keeps tax increases tied to what we actually need, and costs our community can understand without needing an accounting designation.

Budgeting

We need a plain-language breakdown of where your taxes went, using social and email to communicate the important things to you better.

Good Governance

Comparer d
A Public Dashboard. Bring a motion in my first 100 days for a public dashboard of every capital project, its value to the community, its budget, and its timeline.
We need more Transparency. Push for closed-door reform on Nanaimo's model: review in-camera items every six months and release them by default once the need for secrecy has passed.

Public Engagement

Comparer d
We need digital services that continue to improve along with our community, this means better engagement online and systems that are easier to understand and navigate for all ages.

Transit & Getting Around

Comparer

Private Vehicles & Parking

Comparer d
Most households here need a vehicle, and good planning starts from that. Every trip someone can walk, bike or bus is one less car on the road, and I'll plan for that from the start, not after.

Sidewalks & Bike Paths

Comparer d
Vote for safe streets, better crossings, and connected walking and cycling routes, including finishing the Spirit Trail's eastern extension, so getting around here doesn't have to depend on driving alone.

Transit Projects

Comparer d
Start the push now for the Ironworkers Bridge replacement by building a united North Shore case. Traffic is only going to get worse and the costs higher the longer we wait.

Biographie

I was raised in North Vancouver, went to school here, met my wife here, and I'm now lucky enough to be raising our daughter here. I came up in the film industry and work in industry relations today. I'm running for Council because I want DNV to be for her what it's been for us.

Raison de la candidature

I want to be a voice for the future of our community. Future generations should be able to stay, put down roots and build a life here. That means tackling housing costs, congestion and infrastructure together to plan for the community we’re becoming.
