For the past 25 years, I have been proud to call the DNV home. For the past 8 years, I have served as an elected NVSD Trustee. Every voice deserves to be heard. Local government works best when it is accountable, responsible, and focused on the needs of the people it serves.

My experiences as a trustee, volunteer, parent, and resident—have given me the opportunity to listen to people from across our community, understand different perspectives, build relationships, and work collaboratively toward practical solutions. They have also reinforced my belief that our community is strongest when we work together.

I am committed to helping build a District of North Vancouver that remains a safe, inclusive, vibrant place to live—one where residents can access the programs, services, and opportunities they need, and where people are proud to call home.

The reasons I am running I want to support my community. It has become too costly, more affordable housing options needed, transportation is getting worse by the day and the huge wastewater treatment plant cost. We need advocacy to the provincial and federal govts to support us.

I will listen carefully, ask questions, work collaboratively, and make thoughtful decisions in the best interests of District residents. I have 8 years as a trustee so know how the governance and budget process works - DNV is $300M while the NVSD $260M.

I have been volunteering and done community service for over 20 years. I sit on 5 boards - NVDPL, NSDRC, PHT, NS Safety Council and NV Band & Strings Parent Association and a variety of committees across the north shore. I have built great meaningful relationships and trust in the community during this time and believe I would be a great representative on DNV Council to speak on behalf of residents and have their voices heard.

We need council to be seen and active to represent us. Find alternate ways to get funding to support residents.
