Heath MacDonald was first elected as the Member of Parliament for Malpeque in 2021.

Heath is a devoted community leader with a strong record of public service. Prior to taking his seat in Parliament, he served his community in Prince Edward Island’s provincial legislature, as the MLA for Cornwall-Meadowbank.

Born and raised in Malpeque, Heath understands the needs of his community and is a strong voice for their priorities in Ottawa. He is committed to working with the Liberal team to continue moving forward with a positive plan to make life more affordable, create good middle class jobs, strengthen our public health care system, fight climate change, and build an economy that works for all Canadians.

Heath still lives in Malpeque, along with his wife Elizabeth.
