Haini Xiao has been a proud Burnaby resident for more than 20 years with extensive experience in industrial design and marketing. Her background in computer systems has given her rare perspectives on how creativity, technology, and innovation can strengthen education, which she will bring to Burnaby’s school board.

Haini has volunteered with the Burnaby Lake Run, served as a UI/UX judge for Technovation GirlsBC, and contributed to the community by building websites and online platforms for youth-led nonprofit organizations. She has co-authored and contributed to community publications, including Education Weekly, helping connect families with important educational and civic information.

Haini is committed to supporting students, families, and educators while helping our schools prepare students for the future.
