Turn community ideas into action.
-To make Burnaby safer for families. As a mother of three, community safety is personal to me. I want families, seniors, and young people to feel safe, confident and supported in their neighbourhoods.
-To make sure residents' voices are heard. Through years of community work, I have seen that residents have ideas, experience and solutions. I want to create meaningful opportunities for people to participate and have their voices reflected in City decisions.
-To turn community ideas into action. I have spent years bringing neighbours together, building partnerships, and organizing community initiatives. I want to bring the same collaborative approach to City Council, working with residents, organizations and Council to find practical solutions and build a strong and beautiful Burnaby.
