Over the past five years, I have founded the Clean Up Burnaby Campaign, which has increased awareness of community cleanliness issues and removed over 3,500 pounds of garbage from the streets, parks and streams of this municipality. I successfully lobbied City Council to create a new bylaw regarding LED light pollution and was instrumental in getting the Mayor and Council to cancel their poorly conceived GRO facility proposal in Fraser Foreshore Park.

I am the only candidate in this election who has over a decade of customer service experience in a municipal government environment and know multiple ways that the City of Burnaby can much better serve its residents at very little added cost.
