Tori Locke was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, and has dedicated her career to creative work and community service. She holds a diploma in Communications, Media, and Performance from Memorial University and has worked in both the publishing and film industries, gaining valuable experience in storytelling and collaboration.

Since 2019, Tori has been an active volunteer with the Newfoundland and Labrador New Democratic Party, helping to advance the voices and priorities of people across the province. Her decision to run as an MHA comes from a deep belief that politics should be about people, not insiders or corporations.

Tori is committed to building a more equitable and accountable province—one where government listens to communities and delivers practical, community-driven solutions. She believes that the strength of Newfoundland and Labrador lies in its people, and she is ready to bring their voices to the House of Assembly.
