Il est possible qu'il le fasse plus tard!

I remember the first time I ever had politics thrust in my face was in 2015 when the Liberals said they would change our First Past the Post voting system to a proportional representation style system. I was in high school at the time and thought that sounded awesome!
Now it’s 2025, politicians lie, and that’s just one of the many reasons we are behind as a nation. We have a government neglecting its people and allowing things like the cost of living to get completely out of control. Rampant population growth with a housing supply decades behind. All while billions of dollars are being recklessly handed over to the fossil fuel industry so they can pilfer our landscape.
When I first read the Green Party platform, I was shocked at how bold the proposals were, but how they were EXACTLY what we need. From starting a national housing program to build homes quickly, to the removal of taxation on Canadians earning less than 40k. I really recommend anyone reading this click on the tab above to see the platform. So yeah, it is with my full chest that I believe a Green majority government would shape this country into the best version of itself. That was when I decided to put my name forward as a candidate for this riding.
I’m running for the Green Party as a lifelong Port Moody resident. Who attended Moody Elementary, Middle, and High. I’m as from here as it gets, and I feel I can best represent our unique voice in Ottawa. Historically, this riding is often a neck-and-neck race between the big three parties. However, we also haven’t had a Green on the ballot since 2019. So what better time than now to assert our city’s uniqueness than to surprise the country on April 28 and flip Green. What a dream!
My background is in recreation and public service, primarily with the city of Burnaby. I work with the public on a daily basis, so I’m far from some career politician warming a chair. I’m also an activist and have personally attended rallies in support of Climate Action and Palestine. Even better, I’m a musician with multiple albums out. This is the City of the Arts, is it not?
Port Moody, we need someone who will stand up for what is right and what needs to be done. I’m tired of waiting around for the supposed politicians to be the change. Let’s take action. Vote Green on April 28.
