Raised in Prince Edward County, Erica participated as a candidate in the 2021 Federal Election for the Green Party of Canada and in the 2022 Provincial election for the Green Party of Ontario. Currently, she serves as a School Board Trustee for HPEDSB, sitting as Chair of the Physical Planning, Finance and Building Committee, and as Vice-Chair of the Student Well-being and Equity Committee. Working locally for a Canadian company as an Operations Coordinator, she is also a mother who likes to bike, camp, and play soccer.
Erica graduated with two Bachelor of Arts in Law and Psychology, an advanced diploma in Health Informatics Technology, a diploma in Computer Programming, and a certificate in Project Management. She spent almost a decade in Ottawa, leading highly effective sales teams across multiple flagship locations with the Canadian company Glentel, through efficient development and organization.
Between work and school, she volunteered as CoHost of a weekly radio show that aired on CKCU, focusing on sharing Canadian artists, local businesses and events in the last few years of her time there. Having moved back to start a family, Erica’s concerns for the environmental impact that climate change is having on the Bay of Quinte inspired her to get involved with the Green Party. She knows that residents of this area are deeply connected to the abundance and beauty of the region, and are committed to preserving it for our future generations.
As a candidate, Erica is able to offer her excellent communication and leadership skills to advocate for accountability in government, and ensure that the voices of the most vulnerable are heard.
