Donna Lynn Smith grew up in High Prairie Alberta and finished high school at Camrose Lutheran College. She earned credentials in nursing, education and Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Alberta and is a lifelong member of the Canadian College of Health Executives.
