Peter Michael DeVita

Peter has been a champion for everyday people, helping to build stronger communities that work for you. An engineer, Peter is President of Engineers for the Profession Inc, an advocacy organization that believes the licensing of engineering must keep pace with the accelerating expansion of science and technology to ensure the wellbeing of our people. He understands that public interest is critical and must be safeguarded by competent engineers in all areas of practice as they emerge. E4PInc is wrestling with how this can best be done. He also teaches at Sheridan College, helping to prepare young people with the tools they need to start their careers.

Mario is a 2nd-generation Italian immigrant and computer science teacher with a background in game development. He is very involved with family and friends, and strives to bring out the best in himself and others. He also enjoys chess, anime, cosplay, and of course video games.

Muhammad Hassan Khan emigrated to Canada in 2012 from Pakistan. He graduated from Woodbridge College & did political science at York University. Khan has been an active member of the community & will keep working hard to build a better future for the people of Vaughan Woodbridge.

Francesco Sorbara is Vaughan—Woodbridge's local champion. First elected in 2015, Francesco is a strong local advocate of our community, working hard to ensure that everyone has a real and fair chance to succeed. Alongside his wife, Rose and his two daughters, Natalia and Eliana, Francesco has set down deep roots in his community of Vaughan—Woodbridge. Throughout his life, Francesco has served in numerous leadership roles, most recently as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Revenue and as a member of the Public Accounts and Ethics Committees. Since 2015, Francesco has been a strong voice and advocate in Ottawa for the people of Vaughan—Woodbridge and local entrepreneurs. He continues to work on measures that improve the lives of Canadians and create good jobs for Vaughan residents, like the Canada Child Benefit, the enhancement of the Old Age Security, and the implementation of a National Childcare Plan.
