Gustave Roy Libéral Gustave Roy is a dedicated community leader with deep roots in our community, and our Liberal candidate for Carleton. He was born in London, Ontario, and raised in Quebec’s Eastern Townships city of Sherbrooke. Youngest of 6 children, his father was a mechanical engineering professor and his British-Canadian mother a homemaker. The dynamic environment of a large family provided Gustave with ample opportunity to develop strong communication and collaboration skills at a young age. Over the years, he was immersed in culturally-enriching experiences when he travelled to visit family in the UK and lived abroad in both France and Rwanda.
