My approach to politics starts with listening. Communities know where systems are working and where they are failing, and government should take that experience seriously.
I want to help build a BC where people can afford to live, access reliable public services, find secure housing, and feel that they belong in the communities they call home. That means looking at the bigger picture—not treating affordability, housing, healthcare, climate, transportation and community well-being as separate issues.
If elected, I want to be a strong, accessible voice for this community: someone who listens, asks difficult questions, works across differences, and follows through. My goal is not simply to promise more—it is to help build practical solutions that improve people’s everyday lives and create a healthier future for the next generation.
Raison de la candidature
I’ve spent years as an active member of my community — listening to people, organizing, building connections and advocating for issues that matter. At a certain point, I realized that sitting on the sidelines and hoping someone else would speak up wasn’t enough.
I’m running because I’m concerned about the direction BC is heading. We are facing growing deficits and increasing pressure on the services people rely on, while too many decisions are made without sufficiently putting people’s everyday realities and best interests at the centre.
I believe government needs to listen more, be more accountable, and make decisions with the long-term health of our communities in mind. I’m not running because I think I have all the answers. I’m running because I’m willing to listen, ask hard questions, bring people together, and do the work.
For me, this is a natural extension of the community work I’ve already been doing. I’ve spent years helping people find their voice. Now I’m stepping forward to use mine — and to make sure our community’s voices are heard where decisions are made.
