Ibrahima Cisse is a community builder, entrepreneur, and campaign organizer who believes Vancouver needs stronger connections between residents and City Hall. He is running to listen to Vancouverites, bring their concerns forward, and help build a city where people can thrive.

Ibrahima Cisse has spent much of his career building communities and finding ways to bring people together. After moving through a range of jobs and industries, from food service and retail to e-commerce, sales and digital marketing, he eventually built his own community operations business.

Through Community Growth Media, Ibrahima has spent the past five years helping online communities grow and operate more effectively. His work has given him a firsthand look at how much can change when people have a place to connect, share their experiences, and feel heard.

His experience also extends into politics. Ibrahima has managed a provincial election campaign and volunteered on a municipal campaign, gaining experience with voter outreach, campaign operations, volunteers, and the day to day work of connecting with residents.

He believes many Vancouverites are feeling disconnected from the city and uncertain about their future. Housing and homelessness, mental health and addiction, and the state of public spaces and services are issues he believes need more attention and a stronger connection between residents and government.

Ibrahima is running with Bright Future Vancouver because he wants to bring the same approach he has used in building communities into local government: listen first, understand the problem, bring people together, and push for change.

For Ibrahima, politics is not about telling people what they should think. It is about having real conversations with the people who live here and making sure their voices reach the people with the power to act.

Ibrahim has spent the last five years building online communities and seeing firsthand how much can change when people have a place to connect, be heard, and support one another. He believes Vancouver needs that same sense of connection.

He is running because too many Vancouverites feel tired, disconnected, and uncertain about their future. Ibrahim wants to listen, have real conversations with residents, and make sure their concerns reach the people who can act on them.

For him, running is not about telling people who to vote for. It is about showing up, listening, and helping create the changes Vancouver residents are asking for.
