Jim McKeown is your NDP candidate for St. Georges – Humber.

A lifelong supporter of the New Democratic Party, Jim has dedicated countless hours to building stronger campaigns and communities. He has worked on provincial campaigns for Jim Dinn, Gerry Rogers, Kim Churchill, and Alison Coffin, as well as federal campaigns for Mary Shortall and Jack Harris. For Jim, running with the NDP is a natural step — his values of fairness, equity, and accountability align perfectly with the party’s vision for Newfoundland and Labrador.

Beyond politics, Jim is deeply rooted in community life. He has served on the executive boards of the Avalon Motorcycle Ride for Dad, the Northern Star Riders Motorcycle Club, the NL Motorcycle Riding Association, and the Belleview Beagle Club. His leadership in these organizations reflects his commitment to teamwork, service, and giving back.

When he’s not organizing or volunteering, Jim enjoys walking, genealogy, motorcycling, gardening, hunting, and fishing. He’s passionate about the outdoors and the traditions that bring families and neighbours together.

Jim is ready to bring his dedication and experience to the House of Assembly — standing up for the people of St. Georges–Humber and working for a brighter, fairer future with the NDP.
