Biographie
Liz Noseworthy is a familiar face in Grand Falls-Windsor. In addition to her long and varied service to many volunteer efforts, she’s a homecare worker.
Her roots in Central Newfoundland are deep, with both parents, she and her two siblings and her only son all born and raised here.
Liz has been a hockey mom, Beaver leader, Sunday School teacher, blood donor, junior curling coach, mentor of students, and a Block Parent. She’s a member of the Canadian Sealers’ Association, the Legion, and the Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Society, and was a long-time member of Exploits Association for Community Living.
Liz studied nursing and group home counselling, and has kept her knowledge current with frequent first aid, CPR and Crisis prevention and intervention courses. She works in home care.
She is a regular Cataracts season ticket holder, loyal supporter of River Gold, and has enjoyed maintaining a bed at the Community Garden since it began.
