Hello, I am Gordon Kubanek of Kars, a 6 time Green party candidate. Kars sits just outside the riding boundary but I have friends in the riding and was near Winchester often when my daughter took Archery lessons at the South Nation Archery club. I am happily married with 3 daughters and blessed with 5 grandsons. I first worked as a Chemical Engineer in the pulp and paper industry in BC, and the mill I worked at shut down just like it did in Cornwall. Most of my life I worked as a High School physics teacher in the USA, Quebec, Australia and mostly in the Ottawa area. My hobbies include beekeeping, wood carving, canoeing, writing children’s book, being on Board of the CDN association for the Club of Rome [an environmental think tank] and the facilitator for Creation and Peace committee of the Anglican Third Order Franciscans, a global organization that follows in the footsteps of the ideals of St.Francis of Assisi, the patron Saint for the Environment.
