Biographie
Ehab Mustapha, a lifelong Mississauga resident, studied global affairs and policy at the Munk School at the University of Toronto. For the last 10 years, he has worked as an advisor to multinationals as well as startups, guiding them on developing new products and services, as well as preparing them for acquisitions. Ehab has helped develop startups, including founding a few himself, specifically in Financial Technology.
Ehab regularly works with non-profits and other organizations to advise them on capacity building, expanding their reach, and developing strategy. He strongly believes in leadership through example, looking to try things himself and pave the way.
He is recently married, an avid boxer and basketball player, and a proud Canadian and Palestinian. His immigrant parents taught him the value of hard work, and like many other immigrants, the value of getting involved in his community to help build this beautiful country.
Mississauga has always been dear to his heart, and Erin Mills is where he attended school from Grade 5 all the way until he finished his Masters. He watched it develop from farmland into the bustling community he sees today.
Ehab wants to advocate for the people in his community who are feeling left behind by their government. He, along with all Canadians, feels the effects of the rising cost of living that's outpricing young people out of the neighbourhoods they grew up in, forcing people to choose between paying rent and buying groceries, and forcing workers to find a second or third job just to get by.
Ehab is ready to do his part to build a Canada where hard work pays off, where a single full-time job is enough to buy a home and pay the bills, and where health care is not only free but also accessible when and where you need it. Together, we can build that future for the people of Mississauga—Erin Mills and beyond.
