- Protecting what people depend on: supporting workers and businesses facing tariffs, bringing down costs for working families, and strengthening the healthcare British Columbians rely on more than ever during a trade war.
- Building a more self-reliant economy, less dependent on the US: working with the Prime Minister to open new markets beyond the U.S., building the infrastructure and homes B.C. needs, creating good-paying jobs, and training British Columbians so everyone can build a good life.
- Standing up to Trump: keeping U.S. alcohol off the shelves until we get a fair deal for forestry workers, supporting Canada’s countermeasures, and choosing Canadian goods.
The conservative parties are more interested in cozying up to Trump than standing with Team Canada. When Trump announced his tariffs, a Conservative MLA tweeted, “Eby needs to comply. For the greater good!” They'd roll over and undermine Team Canada. That would cost workers and set our economy back.
