Tamara Davidson (Haida name Laanas) was first elected in 2024 and served as the Minister of Environment and Parks. She previously served on the Council of the Haida Nation and was an integral member of the Haida Negotiations Support Team as well as serving as a community leader and federal public servant.

Tamara is no stranger to standing up for her community. She provided a strong voice for rural and remote communities and worked to collaborate with the federal government on important strategies such as the Look West Strategy.

She will continue to bring that strong voice back to Victoria for the people living in the North and Central Coast and Haida Gwaii.
