I'm the calm voice in the room, not a loud partisan. Best solutions come from listening, and then researching global best practices to solve local problems. Decades of global implementation prove green policies are economically, socially, and environmentally better.

It’s time to roll up our sleeves and get to work.

I look at Burnaby South-Metrotown through a practical lens of engineering and logistics, not partisan ideology. Our district is currently ground zero for rapid provincial densification near SkyTrain hubs. It looks a bit like what urban planners call "smart growth," except they forgot the "smart" part. We have been handed a top-down mandated nightmare that forces hyper-density onto our side streets without addressing grid capacity, traffic congestion, or localized neighborhood parking overflow.

We do not need to reinvent the wheel here; we just need to look at proven global implementations. Decades of international application have already done the heavy lifting and testing for us. Leading countries have repeatedly proven that green, eco-sensitive solutions are actually cheaper, more efficient, and vastly better for the environment. By fast-tracking development permits for builders who integrate practical strategies like unbundled parking, which removes $50,000 to $80,000 from a unit’s price tag, shared EV driving hubs, and geothermal temperature regulation, we can lower baseline living costs while protecting our community's long-term infrastructure.

Crucially, running as a BC Green candidate means I am not "stapled" to rigid, unyielding party policy. We have all watched big-party representatives forced into embarrassing about-faces to protect a partisan brand on taxation. I am permitted to think more widely on the massive structural issues facing our province.

The Greens do not whip their MLAs on standard votes, giving me the absolute freedom to evaluate ideas on their actual merit. I am equipped to look across the aisle and pick the absolute best solutions from all voices, whether they originate from the NDP or the Conservatives, without being told that my only job is to stand on the roof and yell "you're wrong."

If British Columbia sees a minority government where principled, unbound, fiscally and environmentally responsible voices hold the balance of power, a collaborative, data-driven approach like mine can be amplified directly into real, common-sense legislative action.

I am running because Burnaby South-Metrotown deserves community stability over political theater. The old-line parties treat the economy and nature as a zero-sum game. I reject that false choice. My voice is unwhipped, meaning I answer to you!
