I’m a longtime Vancouver resident, a woman, an immigrant, a traveler with a deep love for nature, peoples, communities, animals, and this city.
My background is in economics, peace and climate change, and my work has focused on environmental protection, community development, animal welfare, and the connections between the environment, justice, and peace. I believe healthy communities depend on how we care for people, animals, and the places we share. Vancouver’s parks and public spaces are a big part of why I love this city, and I care deeply about protecting them and keeping them accessible to everyone.

In a world where paradigms are shifting and human values on top governance levels on a global scale can feel increasingly fragile, I believe protecting democracy from our neighbourhoods is a personal responsibility.
I’m also deeply passionate about nature, community, and the connections between them, and parks are where all of these come together. For me, running for Park Board is where personal responsibility meets personal passion.
