First elected to Council in 2018, she is focused on protecting Delta’s agricultural land, preserving local heritage, strengthening parks and recreation, and revitalizing Ladner Village.

Alicia’s connection to Delta runs generations deep. Raised in a farming family in Ladner, she has spent much of her life working to strengthen the agricultural community and preserve the land and traditions that have shaped Delta.

In 2014, Alicia co-founded Backroads Family Farm Market with her sister, helping connect residents with locally grown food and giving the community a closer connection to farming in Delta. Today, she continues to co-own the market while serving on Delta Council.

Since being elected in 2018, Alicia has been a strong advocate for agriculture, green space, parks and recreation, and the preservation of Delta’s history and heritage. She chairs Delta’s Agricultural Advisory Committee and serves on the Board of the Delta Farmers Institute, bringing the perspective of local farmers directly into her work at City Hall.

Alicia is also passionate about the future of Ladner Village. She supports continued revitalization while protecting the historic character that makes the area unique, and she wants to see stronger attention given to Delta’s heritage areas and history.

A lifelong Delta resident, Alicia lives in Ladner with her husband, Jeff, and their two children. For her, protecting agriculture, green space and local heritage is not only about preserving Delta’s past — it is about ensuring future generations can enjoy the same community that shaped her own life.
