I am a strong supporter of transparency. Only by recognition and ownership of our mistakes, acknowledgment, and understanding of what we can do better, can we truly facilitate the changes that are necessary for authentic growth, problem-solving and improvement.

Biographie
I have been the Chair of the North Vancouver Parent Advisory Council for the past three years. Supporting and advocating on behalf of and for Parents/Guardians and PACs within the (NVSD). I am also the Chair of the (NVPAC) Diversity & Inclusion Parent Advisory Committee.
I am committed to supporting the Indigenous communities, focusing on truth and reconciliation, anti-oppression, and decolonization, particularly amongst the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw - Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh first nations on which the North Vancouver School District resides. I believe and fully support, that only the members of these respective communities can determine how this work will be completed. I respect the values and beliefs of the Indigenous communities and Indigenous ways of knowing, in which I acknowledge I am a settler of and on these lands.
I am an advocate of Equitable Access to Education for all students, and fully support and value uplifting the authentic voices of all marginalized persons to fully participate in their educational experiences, communities, individual development, and growth. I have and will continue to push the boundaries of genuine and authentic inclusive practices enabling all students to feel a true sense of welcoming and belonging within the North Vancouver School District.
I fully support the well-being and mental health of all students and staff and truly believe that by providing safe and emotionally supportive environments, all persons within the North Vancouver School District community will have their best opportunity to thrive.
