Biographie

soumis par le candidat ou son équipe
Today, I live in Willow Point, with my husband and kids. When my children were toddlers, I completed a master’s degree in public administration at the University of Victoria. I have a small business, Jellyfish Group, where I have worked on many community-based projects.

In the past, I have spent over a decade working in sport and commercial fishing. Recently, I have worked on a number of community projects, including the Community Action Team, the Hama?elas Community Kitchen, Food Security, Dementia Awareness, Recreation and Culture events, GoByBike Week, and CR Live Streets. I volunteer with Special Olympics and have been involved in many of Campbell River’s early childhood programs. I am also a vocal advocate for expanding access to mental health services across the Vancouver Island region.

I want to build a Campbell River that works better for all of us, by supporting modern policies and by bringing an optimistic and forward-thinking voice to our city hall.

As a Campbell River City Councillor, I will work to ensure that we build a Campbell River that respects our past. But, is innovative and resilient enough to survive and thrive for many generations to come.

I am passionate about creating a Campbell River that will meet the needs of future generations, is a place where kids and youth can grow and build a solid foundation and is welcoming to visitors, economically thriving, and socially supportive of everyone who calls this place home.

Because it doesn't have to be this hard.

Municipal Politics and governance should be optimistic, forward-thinking and cooperative. We can move forward together and make Campbell River work better for all of us.
