Biographie
Belent Mathew is a dedicated community leader, experienced administrator, and the Conservative Party of Canada’s candidate for Scarborough Centre—Don Valley East.
With over 15 years of experience in office administration, human resources, and legal consultancy, Belent brings practical knowledge and strong leadership to the table. He has also studied mathematics, mechanical engineering, and computer applications—which help him to see the bigger picture and understand and respond to complex issues facing our communities today.
Since immigrating to Canada in 2008, Belent has spent much of his time in Scarborough, living, working, raising his family, and contributing meaningfully to the local community. In 2014, Belent and his wife Teena established a legal consultancy firm that continues to focus on supporting individuals and families facing everyday challenges.
As a passionate volunteer, Belent has spent over a decade supporting and advocating for charitable causes. Whether helping at food banks, organizing food and fundraising drives, or assisting struggling families during the COVID-19 pandemic, Belent continues to step up and serve the community. He has also played an active role in civic and cultural forums, working with organizations that promote inclusivity and community wellbeing.
As a husband and father of three, Belent understands the real-life challenges that families face—from rising costs to accessing quality healthcare and public services. His mission is to make life more affordable, secure, and prosperous for all residents of Scarborough Centre—Don Valley East.
