Scott Cyr is the UCP candidate for Bonnyville— Cold Lake — St.Paul and has called Northern Alberta home his entire life. Previously serving as the MLA for the district of Bonnyville — Cold Lake from 2015 to 2019, Scott wants to bring back a strong, conservative voice to Alberta’s legislature. He is proud to have previously brought forward legislation that protects victims of non-consensual distribution of intimate images.
Scott received a Bachelor's Degree in Management with a double major in accounting and finance from the University of Lethbridge, where he met his wife Megan. After graduating, Scott and Megan moved back to Cold Lake to start a family and has two daughters, Amelia and Charlotte.
Scott has also worked as an accountant for 19 years and went on to start an accounting firm with his partner, Benjamin Dyck, which became one of the largest in the Lakeland region.
Scott looks to bring the values of integrity and professionalism back to the legislature and fight for Bonnyville — Cold Lake — St.Paul.
