My vision for Surrey-Serpentine River is simple: families who keep more of what they earn, can afford a home, feel safe in their neighbourhood and make their own decisions about their lives.
Right now, Victoria is in the way. Families here are working harder and falling behind as too much of every paycheque goes to government, and a growing pile of rules drives up the cost of building a home and running a business. The private sector, not government, creates jobs. Government’s role is to create the conditions for success and then get out of the way.
That’s why OneBC will cut every income-tax bracket by 25%, lower the PST to 5% and balance the budget within four years. We’ll audit B.C.’s more than 176,000 regulations to cut bureaucratic bloat, and eliminate the Step Code, which adds unnecessary costs to new homes. With the new Cloverdale hospital not opening until 2030, we’ll allow private health-care options alongside a fully funded public system, so patients have choices now. And we’ll put parents, not government, at the centre of their children’s education with a Parental Bill of Rights.
Smaller government means more room for families, workers and small businesses to build the lives they want, right here at home.

OneBC Candidate for Surrey-Serpentine River
Surrey-Serpentine River is home. My wife and I have built our life here. She works in health care, and our daughter is at Simon Fraser University pursuing a career in anthropology and archaeology. Like any parent, I want her generation to build a good life in British Columbia, and that's a big part of why I'm running.
I've been in politics since I was 16, working on municipal, provincial and federal campaigns in just about every role. I've knocked on doors, organized rides to the polls and stayed up for the count. After a lifetime helping others get elected, I'm putting my own name forward.
I'm a man of strong convictions, and I've always put principle ahead of party. As president of the local BC Conservative riding association, I raised concerns in writing about how the party ran its 2025 leadership review and asked for an independent review. I was forced out, but I'd do it again. Fair process matters, and so does standing up when it isn't easy.
In business, I co-founded a software company, was a vice president at a major recruiting firm and studied commerce at UBC. During COVID, I managed a Surrey branch and delivered a major staffing contract for Fraser Health. Today I lead business development for a BC software company. Meeting payrolls and balancing budgets taught me to respect every dollar, especially someone else's.
I'm running with OneBC because its plan is in writing and its members decide it: lower taxes, a balanced budget, safer streets, real recovery for people struggling with addiction, and parents at the centre of their children's education.
I say what I mean and I mean what I say. If you elect me, you'll always know where I stand.
Raison de la candidature
I'm running because Surrey-Serpentine River deserves an MLA who says what he means and does what he says.
Families here are working harder and falling behind. Groceries, housing and gas cost more every year, and too much of every paycheque goes to Victoria. The private sector, not government, creates jobs. Government's role is to create the conditions for success, not punish it with confiscatory taxes. That's why I support OneBC's plan to cut every income-tax bracket by 25%, lower the PST to 5% and balance the budget within four years.
Surrey families also deserve to feel safe. Extortion and violence are hitting Surrey businesses, and repeat offenders keep cycling through the system. OneBC will crack down on repeat and violent offenders and focus the justice system on the people committing most of the crime. We'll end safe supply, roll back decriminalization, crack down on open drug use and turn consumption sites into recovery centres, so people struggling with addiction get real treatment.
I believe in one law for every British Columbian. That means repealing DRIPA, so no one has special rights, everyone is equal under the law and private property is protected.
In our schools, I'll stand with parents: a Parental Bill of Rights, a focus on reading, writing and math, and SOGI 123 out of the classroom. And I'll be a strong voice for getting Surrey students out of portables and into real classrooms.
I've spent a lifetime helping others get elected. Now I'm asking for your vote, because the plan you vote for should be the plan you get.
