Raised on the North Shore, educated in West Van, now raising three kids at Cedardale and Mulgrave. Two decades leading sustainability work for the UN before coming home as CEO of the UN Association in Canada. Today: Hockey for Autism coordinator, West Van Minor Hockey volunteer.

I was raised on the North Shore and educated in West Vancouver. After two decades working with the United Nations and the World Bank, I returned home to raise my three kids here.

From playing field hockey with the Cavaliers to now cheering on my son as he takes to the ice with the West Van Thunder, this community has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. Locally, I served West Vancouver on the Community Engagement Committee and coordinate the West Van Hockey for Autism program.

Shaped in no small part by the values and education I received at Collingwood School, I worked with communities around the world on sustainable development, public policy, and responsible finance. I have spoken at over 50 UN events and trained municipal employees from 12 different countries on urban resilience with the University of Southern Denmark. I hold a Master of Arts in Geography from McGill University.

Growing up in the schools and on the fields of West Vancouver, I spent most of my career with the United Nations working with people around the world to build stronger communities. I am excited to bring my experience back to West Vancouver where I'm raising my family.

I know how to negotiate. As the UN's lead on international agreements on climate and nature, I brought parties with competing interests to consensus. As we face provincial pressure on housing, I’ll put my skills to work to ensure that West Van prioritizes housing choices so the people you love don't have to leave.

I've spent twenty years earning the trust of ministers, heads of state, and community leaders on the world stage. Now I want to earn that trust closer to home, shepherding council decisions backed by consultation and data.

I have hands-on experience in youth and community engagement, from mentoring Canadian youth at UN meetings and Model UN sessions to volunteering with West Van Minor Hockey. Now it’s time for a West Van youth council seat, real mentorship, and real opportunities for youth.

I know how to lead and manage a budget. I ran a non-profit with an annual portfolio of $5 million, and I bring that same fiscal discipline to public service. We need sustainable municipal finances with no surprises.
