Biographie

I have called Mission home since 2020, and I’m proud to be raising my son here. I’ve become actively involved in the community as PAC Chair, a board member with the Mission Environmental Stewardship Society, and a volunteer with the Mission Hospice Gala Committee.

I work as a firefighter, the film industry, and I have previously served in charitable leadership roles. Earlier in my life, I competed internationally in modern pentathlon and tetrathlon, represented Canada, and competed at the Canada Winter Games in Newfoundland.

I ran for Mission Council in 2022 and have remained involved in local issues ever since. I’m straightforward, I listen to different perspectives, and I believe people deserve honest answers—even when the answer is not always simple.

Raison de la candidature

I’m running because Mission’s growth should benefit the people who call it home—not leave our roads, services, and facilities struggling to catch up. I’ll listen, ask hard questions, spend carefully, and make decisions that put Mission residents first.

Mission is growing, and too often infrastructure and services are expected to catch up after decisions are made. We need to plan roads, traffic safety, public safety, parks, recreation, and community facilities alongside development—not years later.

Affordability also matters. Homeowners cannot be the default answer every time the City needs more revenue. I support stronger economic development that grows our commercial and industrial tax base, along with regular reviews of City operations to find efficiencies and improve service.

Residents should be able to understand what Council is approving, what it will cost, what result is expected, and how success will be measured. That requires clear business cases, realistic costing, regular progress updates, and meaningful public engagement before major decisions are made.

I also want a City Hall that is responsive and focused on solving problems. I won’t pretend to have every answer or agree with everyone, but I will listen, do the work, explain where I stand, and remain accountable for my decisions.
