Student Voice is so important. We have a strong Student Leadership Club present in our district, I will continue to listen and learn from them.

I will push our municipalities to improve road safety and walking routes to schools.

School Construction and Additions

I will continue to advocate for important School Construction projects for our growing community. We also need to push to have the last of our seismically unsafe schools replaced.

I'm excited to seek re-election as a PoCo School Trustee.

I've had the privilege of serving PoCo/SD43 for 12 years, 5 as Chair. We've rebuilt schools, tripled the number of EAs, completed our Directions 2030 Strategic Plan, and secured funding to rebuild Hazel Trembath Elem.

I'm excited to announce that I'm seeking re-election as a Port Coquitlam School Trustee.

Since first being elected in 2014, I've had the privilege of serving three terms on the Board and as Board Chair since 2021. Together, we've rebuilt schools, nearly tripled the number of Education Assistants in SD43, completed our new Directions 2030 Strategic Plan, and secured funding to rebuild Hazel Trembath Elementary after the tragic fire that destroyed the school.

While I'm proud of what we've accomplished, there is still important work ahead. I'm committed to strong public education, safe schools, and ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.

Strong public schools help build strong communities, and I would be honoured to earn your support for another four years.
