Raison de la candidature
If re-elected, I will continue to be a strong advocate on council for neighbourhoods and residents, whether its standing up for safe neighbourhoods and clean streets; pushing to ensure vulnerable people receive the help that they need; and pushing back against development that does not make sense for our city and its neighbourhoods, while ensuring that we build a variety of housing for all income types. I am proud to have championed our downtown core: helping drive the pedestrianization of Granville Street this past summer, Gastown revitalization and car-free Sundays, Davie Street Block Party and sidewalk widening currently underway, and many more city-building initiatives. I am a constituent-focused councillor, and pride myself on my responsiveness and ability to assist residents when they are encountering issues with City Hall. I am here to serve you on council, and I consider it a true honour to represent you at City Hall.
