Dr. Mike Gill is an Optometrist, who through his clinic, has proudly served Richmond for the past 13 years. A lifelong Richmond resident, Mike attended Tomsett Elementary and Cambie Secondary School. Today, he and his wife, Sharon, are raising their four children in the same community where they both grew up.

Mike’s commitment to Richmond extends beyond his professional life. For the past six years, he has volunteered as a coach with Richmond United Football Club and served two years on its Board of Directors. He is also a volunteer head coach with the Richmond Raiders, where he serves as Vice President.

Mike is running for Richmond City Council for the first time because he believes active, engaged community members have an important role to play in shaping the future of our city.
