My family is a driving force behind me, protecting the children. I aspire to help those without a voice be heard, realize accountability in government, and bring relief to the people of Ontario.

Joshua Carron

Happy Warrior | Advocate for Transparency and Accountability in Politics | Resident of Brantford, Ontario

I have been deeply invested in the political landscape for years, particularly in promoting active resistance to establishment politics and supporting grassroots movements. I believe in the power of community and direct action to effect change. I focus on maintaining the integrity of political parties and ensuring they serve the public interest rather than becoming tools of the establishment. My journey involves navigating the complexities of modern politics, where I aim to shed light on the differences between genuine opposition and controlled dissent.

My political involvement includes supporting Jim Karahalios during the 2020 CPC leadership election showcasing my commitment to principled leadership. I also worked in Belinda Karahalios's office when she served as an Independent MPP, gaining invaluable experience in constituency work and advocacy. As a founding board member of the New Blue Party of Ontario, I am dedicated to fostering a new generation of political integrity and transparency in the province. In the 2022 election, I helped recruit and support candidates across southwestern Ontario, laying the groundwork for our party's growth. I co-chaired The New Blue Party's Policy Conference in the summer of 2024, where over 100 delegates attended over three days to debate and vote on policies adopted into our platform, "The New Blueprint 2.0", shaping our vision for the future. I am proud to serve as the 2025 candidate for Brantford-Brant, continuing my commitment to represent and serve my community.

I periodically worked as a carpenter's apprentice in my professional life, gaining hands-on trade experience. I also ran my own painting business during the COVID-19 pandemic, learning firsthand the resilience and adaptability required in challenging economic conditions. I now work in-home services, continuing to serve and connect with the Brantford community.

In my personal life, I live with my wonderful wife, and we are excitedly expecting our third child. My family is a driving force behind my work with New Blue; I don't know where I would be without them. I am fighting for my children's future, ensuring they inherit a world where integrity and accountability are the norm in politics. This new addition to our family only strengthens my commitment to creating a better future in our community and the broader political arena. My quest involves overcoming challenges like censorship and bureaucratic hurdles. I am dedicated to keeping the conversation alive, educating others, and pushing for an environment where everyone can participate with peace of mind, knowing I can promote the voice of the marginalized.

Let's work together towards a more principled, transparent, and accountable political system.

It is an honour to be running as a candidate for Brantford-Brant with New Blue; the future looks bright as we challenge the left, balance the narrative, and change the course.
