I promise to help alleviate the understaffed RCMP within Prince George.
Our RCMP has been understaffed for years now, so I plan to push forward civic programs to help make up for our lack of officers and address the root problem, that being that the RCMP, due to how it works, requires members to redeploy to other cities to have a chance at promotions or raises. This is a deal breaker for a lot of people, and a big reason why they dont join the RCMP.
Public Drug Use
To work to create Bylaws to restrict the use of drugs within public spaces.
Drug use is inescapable, but it should not be plaguing our public places where we eat, work and play. This needs to change

I am a longtime resident of Prince George who has been active in municipal, provincial and federal politics. Over the years, I have noticed that things have only gotten worse, with little to no action made to change this ailing situation. I intend to take action to remedy this.
My actions include a platform dedicated to reducing crime through the reinforcement of the RCMP, which is understaffed, alongside a policy of renovation of our crumbling infrastructure.

I have seen a relative lack of action taken for fixing the problems within Prince George, and more than that, I have seen a lack of will on the part of other candidiates in addressing that there is even a problem. Moreso than that, we get only hollow promises, and no solution.
