As a proud Richmond resident of 34 years, Nancy has been a contributing member of society as a parent, CO-OP board member, Tutor, Vice President of her union local, Education Assistant and member of the district Education and Strategic Planning Committees. Her experiences and insight at every level of the school system from both the parent and staff Points of view offers a unique and well-rounded perspective and knowledge base.

Throughout her 28 year tenure with the Richmond school district, she has worked in both elementary and secondary schools and has had the opportunity to be a part of the continuous changes that fit the growing needs of our students. Nancy believes all students should have the opportunity to feel successful, regardless of differences in ability. All students should be able to feel a sense of accomplishment and be proud of their success, however they define it.
