My name is Jizhou (William) Wang, and Richmond has been my family’s home since 2012. I am a father of three, entrepreneur, and former capital-markets professional with experience in corporate finance, restructuring, and business management. These experiences taught me to scrutinize budgets, demand accountability, and turn plans into results.

I am running for Council to help build a safer, more affordable, and better-managed Richmond. I will advocate for responsible spending, stronger community safety, thoughtful housing and transportation planning, and practical support for local businesses and vulnerable residents.

Richmond’s diversity is one of its greatest strengths, yet many residents—including Chinese Canadians—remain underrepresented in civic decision-making. I will bridge cultures, explain City decisions in plain language, listen across communities, and ensure concerns receive meaningful follow-up.

I respectfully ask for your vote on October 17.

See City Hall. Understand the decisions. Have your say.

When you call, I will answer.
