Lisa Phillips is a finance professional, business owner and experienced community leader with a BSc in Mathematics from UBC. She brings eight years of board governance experience with Madrona School and SelfDesign Learning Foundation, where she worked with government and Ministry officials on accreditation, funding and educational programming. Her professional career includes financial services, business management and e-commerce.

Lisa is running for Richmond City Council because she believes local government should be financially responsible, accountable and focused on the needs of residents. She is particularly interested in advocating for Richmond residents and property owners in light of the Cowichan decision, while supporting responsible development, strong communities and sound municipal finances.

A 3rd generation British Columbian with deep roots in the Lower Mainland, Lisa brings a practical, analytical approach to public service and is committed to listening to residents and making thoughtful, evidence-based decisions.
