I am running as an independent candidate for Richmond—grounded in integrity, practical leadership, and a steadfast commitment to our community.

My background bridges three vital perspectives:

• As an entrepreneur, I know what it takes to balance budgets, meet payroll, and navigate tough economic realities.

• As a journalist, I’ve spent years asking the hard questions, uncovering facts, and giving voice to the community—qualities our City Hall needs today.

• As a published poet and writer, I have developed an appreciation for the character, culture, and human stories that give a community its identity.

I believe Richmond needs all three perspectives: practical experience, informed judgment, and a genuine understanding of community.

If elected, I will work to promote responsible spending, a strong local economy, safe and livable neighbourhoods, and a city government that listens to residents.
