I am seeking re-election to continue bringing an independent voice and a commitment to accountability to Council.
Throughout my term, I have challenged assumptions, scrutinized proposals and asked hard questions, while keeping residents’ interests at the centre.
I have served as Council Liaison to the Finance and Revenue Committee since its inception and have advocated for independent scrutiny and public oversight.
I will continue to advocate for accountability on major capital projects. I called for a Municipal Inspector’s inquiry into the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant because major public expenditures demand rigorous scrutiny.
I have also challenged one-size-fits-all approaches to housing. We need housing options for families and seniors, while considering infrastructure capacity, environmental protection and emergency preparedness.
I will advocate for thoughtful, local planning that protects our community and prepares for the future.
