As a 7-year melanoma cancer survivor, I advocate for sun safety and am always open to supporting others through their own cancer journey. Originally raised in rural Summerland, I have spent over 25 years working in the technology industry in technical product & project management, bringing experience in problem-solving, innovation and managing change.

My priorities for the 2026-2030 term is on the things that add real value to people’s everyday lives. That means a downtown that is safe to visit, business-friendly, clean and welcoming, with a stronger and more visible public safety presence. Across Mission, we need to increase community safety and confidence in our public spaces through effective enforcement and policing, while working with community partners to address the underlying issues that contribute to unsafe or disruptive behaviour.

It means continuing to invest in the recreational services, amenities, parks and community spaces people need, while improving what we already have. Mission has great potential to be an even more fun, healthy and connected place to live, with opportunities for people of all ages to be active, get outside and enjoy their community.

We need to manage that growth responsibly. New development needs to work with our existing neighbourhoods and rural areas, while ensuring roads, utilities, recreation and other infrastructure keep pace. Growth should contribute its fair share toward the services and infrastructure it requires, minimizing the impact on existing taxpayers.

As a two-term councillor, I believe Council works best when different viewpoints and experience come together around the table. We don’t need to agree on every issue — respectful debate, difficult questions and different perspectives lead to better decisions. With eight years on Council, I bring the experience to understand how decisions about property taxes, infrastructure, growth and future land-use plans fit together, helping us make responsible choices that deliver the best possible value for Mission taxpayers.

Trust in local government matters. Residents deserve a City Hall that is open, transparent and accountable, and a Council that listens and clearly communicates how and why decisions are made. I believe residents should feel connected to their local government and comfortable asking questions, raising concerns and challenging us when they disagree. I have always welcomed that feedback and encourage Mission residents to reach out to me directly.

Serving the people of Mission has been an honour and a privilege. I am proud of what we have accomplished, excited about what we can still achieve together, and I respectfully ask for your vote to continue serving you on Mission Council.
