I am Mario Cruz, a longtime Richmond resident, Realtor, community advocate, and proud member of the Richmond community. I am running for Richmond City Council because I believe our city should be a place where families, seniors, youth, and future generations can thrive.

My priorities are keeping Richmond safe, supporting our seniors and youth, improving and expanding recreational opportunities—including more outdoor and indoor activities like sports - Pickleball, Basketball and Tennis and more enjoyable events as well..

As a Realtor, I have seen firsthand how difficult it can be for local families to afford to live here. If elected, I will work for responsible decisions, transparency and accountability.
