Biographie
A life long advocate for affordable housing, my working life has been spent working in the non-profit housing sector.
I bring extensive experience in co-operative and non-profit housing, along with governance training gained through working with volunteer boards across British Columbia. Chairing meetings and serving on several boards have strengthened my understanding of collaboration, accountability, and effective decision-making.
My community service has included fundraising for Coquitlam Moody Minor Baseball, serving on committees and as a director of my housing co-op, and serving since 2021 on the board of a not-for-profit women’s housing society. As a brain tumour survivor, I am also involved with the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
I believe Port Moody can grow while remaining an inclusive community where people feel heard, supported, and able to belong. Through housing diversity, meaningful civic engagement, and stronger local economic opportunities, we can build a community where everyone can thrive.
