We are pleased to announce that Matthew Stocek is our candidate for Fredericton North in the 2024 Election.

Matthew grew up in Woodstock, NB and moved to Fredericton to complete his undergraduate studies at UNB. For the past several years, he has been working as a chemist in the growing biotech industry in Fredericton. Through his current and previous work as well as his activism, Matthew has shown dedication to environmental stewardship in the province, as well as food security.

Matthew is committed to building a progressive vision of New Brunswick that is equitable for all members of society, and believes that this begins with a focus on housing affordability. The housing and renting policies in the province are currently unsustainable, and Matthew believes that protecting renters through tighter rent control is the only step forward toward ensuring financial security for New Brunswickers.

We look forward to introducing Matthew who is seeking to become the next MLA for Fredericton North over the campaign ahead.
