Nello Altomare is running as your NDP candidate in Transcona.
Born, raised and living in Transcona, Nello Altomare is the son of Italian immigrants who came to Canada seeking a better life. He is a retired teacher and principal within the River East Transcona School Division. During his career, Nello demonstrated a keen ability to work with a team to create and sustain a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning and working environment for all stakeholders in education. As the MLA for Transcona since 2019 and the NDP’s Critic for Education and Early Childhood Learning, he continues to advocate for high quality, accessible and better educational supports for our kids.
