Energy-Efficient Buildings & Retrofits

Support annual major capital requests in support of energy efficiency, seismic mitigation, and additional capacity or new facilities.

We face a significant capacity crunch at many of our schools. In addition, most of or schools require seismic mitigation. Further, the condition of our facilities is worse than the provincial average.

Urban Heat

I support retrofitting our buildings to increase energy efficiency and opportunities for partnerships regarding waste heat to energy.

Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation

I support the implementation of the Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability Action Plan and measures to prepare for climate change.

I support ensuring equal access for all. We need to retrofit some of our buildings for universal accessibility.

Greg is seeking re-election after completing his first term as a school board trustee. He has enjoyed serving the students and families of the Nanaimo Ladysmith Public schools. He is dedicated to student success and advocates for all students across the district.
