Richard T. Lee is running for City Council with One Burnaby, our city’s newest political party.
Richard and his late wife, Anne, married and settled in Burnaby in 1986, where they raised 3 children.
Richard holds a combined Honours Bachelor of Science in Physics & Mathematics and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from UBC.
Richard began his career in TRIUMF and attended the United States Particle Accelerator School at UC Berkeley and Harvard University.
Richard is an active volunteer in the community, having been directors of the BC Cultural Diversity Association, BC Heritage Language Association, Burnaby DPAC, Burnaby Chinese Parents’ Association, Burnaby Multicultural Society, and Civic Education Society.
Richard represented North Burnaby as MLA for 16 years, and served the people of British Columbia as Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
If elected, Richard will make sure that City Hall focuses on making life more affordable for families.
