Jeffrey Reid Marsh

My focus would be that every policy position undertaken needs to represent the perspective of Calgary Confederation constituents in terms of achieving the results (that are within the purview of the Government of Canada) that they want and need to better their everyday lives!

Raison de la candidature

Jeff is excited to be running in Canada's 45th federal general election to provide voters with another choice on the ballot that is a fresh alternative to the traditional parties.

Federal opinion polls clearly demonstrate there are a great many Canadians who, while committed to casting their vote, are not particularly inclined towards any of the options otherwise available to them this election.

‍Canadians deserve a Government that quits quibbling over ideology and instead gets down to the business of effectively delivering the programs, services and infrastructure that hard-working Canadians want and need. This will enable us to continue to do what we do best - collectively making Canada the exceptional country that it is through individual endeavour and innovation.

‍Balanced centrist governance that is both socially progressive and fiscally responsible is what Jeff believes will allow us to do just that. He embraces the old environmental mantra "Reduce, Re-use, Recycle" and applies it to many aspects of life. For instance, to meet the unprecedented demand for affordable housing across Canada, rather than replacing our existing housing stock, we will do better maintaining and rejuvenating it. Build new homes as efficiently and cost effectively as possible to supplement, rather than replace, those that we already have.
